Barbers Gordon and Nigel Johnston have over 40 years’ experience of traditional barbering and look forward to you visiting.
An appointment or pre-booking is not required for either the barbers or railway museum. Many visitors take an opportunity to have a self-guided tour of the museum while they wait for a haircut. Barbers Gordon and Nigel will be happy to answer any of your questions.
You can visit the railway museum without the requirement to have your haircut.
Admission is free, although you are welcome to make a donation to the work of the museum, which is a registered charity operated entirely by volunteers. A free leaflet guide is available for visitors to assist with your tour and learn more about the exhibits in the museum, which include a range of artefacts from the three railways which once operated in Co. Fermanagh – The Great Northern Railway (Ireland), The Sligo, Leitrim & Northern Counties Railway and The Clogher Valley Railway. A large model railway is also available to view on the 2nd floor which is extremely popular with children and railway modellers of all ages.
The museum welcomes group and school visits and can facilitate guided tours and illustrated talks on Fermanagh’s Railways by prior arrangement
